The day ended with our annual Parliamentary reception, hosted by Sir John Whittingdale MP OBE and kindly co-sponsored by BASE, BPI and the NMATaking place on the terrace of the House of Commons, the reception brought together key members of the IP community including rightsholders, industry representatives, creators, government officials and parliamentarians.

Sophie Jones, newly appointed Chair of the Alliance for IP and BPI's Chief Strategy Officer, delivered a speech calling for our world-leading IP standards to be maintained and emphasised the UK's gold standard IP framework that crucially underpins the creative industry.
